Will AAA fix a flat trailer tire?

I would guess not but YEARS ago I had a flat, called AAA, guy came out. He wanted me to unload mare why he changed tire and I told him it would be safer NOT to unload her as parking area was slick (black top) and she could fall.

So he nicely replaced tire while I kept mare calm (stood outside by her head and talked quietly to her, feeding her goodies.

I haul very infrequently, too, yet got USRider coverage the day I bought my trailer after listening to the COTH wisdom. Glad I have it.

From personal experience, no. As soon as they find out the flat is on your trailer, you’re on your own, even with a “Plus RV” plan. I was stranded on the side of I-81 once with a shredded trailer tire and AAA would not help. (Yes, I know how to change a tire but the lug nuts were so tight we couldn’t loosen them.) Thank goodness some state highway guys took pity on us!

I have heard great things about US Rider although I only ship far enough to justify them a few times a year so I have not signed up.
