Windurra social media

If you want to laugh at my expense re: average RE agents – I went to look at a farmette last week. It was advertised as having a barn with four stalls and a riding ring. My SO and I get there and he goes “is this a barn for Breyers?” The ‘barn’ was an 8ft tall structure with narrow (3x3) ‘stalls’. The ‘riding ring’ was a 20 ft circular corral of round pen panels.

I don’t know what kind of horses were on that property but I know mine won’t fit. :joy:

This much I can say with recent knowledge. Open land is going for $30-$32k an acre in the West Grove/Cochranville area right now.

My farm has 47 acres and Boyd has 71 at the main Windurra property, but he owns 4 other parcels as well.

It does add up.

A friend of mine had the most beautiful little private farm behind her very nice house, which was her pride and joy.

It was a perfect little four stall barn with a heated tack room, wash stall, outdoor ring, and several nice paddocks. It was an ideal set up for somebody who wanted to have their horses at home, and it was laid out to be extremely attractive and efficient.

When she moved, the person who bought the place turned the barn into a big pool room or something like that. :woman_facepalming:

OMG check out the album of pics for this farm.

Hint… Look for the pic with the pool table.

I’m not a fan girl either and I thought the same thing. Just imagine what the insurance costs are for that facility.

That’s far too much white to live in in that house. I’m guessing there aren’t any pets or kids. There wasn’t, IMHO, anything really unique in the style of the house.

Speaking of their social media.

Thank you for posting this, it made my day!

You’re welcome. It’s pretty entertaining!

Well, isn’t that an interesting renovation of a barn.

I said based off that one picture. I did mention that the rest of the facility is great. I have absolutely no problem with shedrows. We have racehorses and this is the first year they haven’t been in a shedrow for a long time. Before that they were stabled at a training center that was an old converted dairy barn. I have no problem with rustic as long as it is safe and functional.
