Contestant 4 had the lead this morning but Contestant 3 is moving up strongly. Still a long way to go in the voting.
I really like the # 4 ones. The horses could not have gone together better.
#4. And the grey horse out of the pair.
I love how well matched in gait the Pas de Deux team is.

Roan, is that a vote for #4 or just a comment?
Go Whit, Go Whit, Go Whit!
That woman changed my life several yrs ago and I will always love her. She is one of the nicest people as well as most respectful trainer (towards horse and rider) that I have ever worked with. I spent 3 days with her in 2000 and she changed my life forever on how I ride, train and overall think of dressage.
Whit is riding Micah, who is a Trakehner gelding by Leonidas out of a Trak dam named Mariah, but I cant think of her breedinf of the top of my head.
Whit bred Micah and raised/trained him from the very beginning.
I dont know what Punky’s horse is, Id have to ask.
Edit - Margaret = Punky (her nick name)

I figured that was the case, but was still wondering about quality issues because the video was professionally done, and I bet it looked great on a DVD, so was just wondering if there are any tips on WHAT to ask a videographer for. And of course, the angle (from the long side vs from the short side) makes a huge difference when looking at lateral work.
My vote hovers between 1 and 4, it is the technical aspects versus the artistic aspects - I’m waffling!
Dishonnest
I don’t think it’s very honest to compare a Pd2 with single rides.
Most of the comments (=votes) are about the harmony between the two horses at the Pd2 ride.
Ok… went to look at what horse Punky was riding. That is Cipriani, also owned/trained by Whit who is Westf registrered - Casparino x Rabino. That was the one who she took to Kentucky to the Young Horse stuff and did so well on.
The reason I didn’t split the contest into pairs and singles is that there aren’t that many Pas de Deuxs being performed. Since this was the first time out for the contest, I decided to include both so Pas de Deux didn’t fall by the wayside. I only had one Pas de Deux entry, but it was good enough to make the finalists cut.

Comment only. I voted already on YouTube – RoanArt.

Got it! Thanks for voting!
#4. They were fantastic. I really enjoyed all of them though!
Glad to hear you did!

The voting on YouTube, UDBB, and CotH has tightened the race and as of this morning we have a new leader!
Contestant 3: 21
Contestant 4: 15
Contestant 2: 14
Contestant 1: 7
I vote for #4
Doing the Pas De Deux is more difficult and they did a great job of matching each other. Staying so close together is also a bigger challenge than doing mirror images.
Count me in for Contestant #3… thanks for offering such a great incentive!
