What I can say about the Amazing Graze:

They are also indestructible. Mine are more than 10 years old and have been out in all weather.

I tend to use them with hay cubes (the softest I can find). They clunk around, but since the horses mostly roll them along the ground, the cubes aren’t really “banging” around inside. Most of the noise is from when the horses paw the toys or fling them with their noses or crash them into something solid like a fence post or wall. I’ve never been annoyed by the sound, but I have a pretty high tolerance for annoying stuff.

They do get dirty, but I imagine the treat balls get even dirtier due to their flat sides. The Amazing Graze only makes contact on the ground on the ends. They roll them through poop occasionally, but it’s rare for them to be COVERED in poop.

I wish I’d taken a picture of it! I was surprised. It was a few year old so maybe all the sunlight weakened it? It lives in a dirt lot without a lot of shade.

Thank god there’s another human on earth who hates these things as much as I do.

Tug of war with traffic cones – the 28" tall cheap ones that are very flexibile. Endless entertainment. One of my guys is forever carrying one around and shoves it in the faces of my other two until someone grabs ahold – and the games begin. Eventually the cones get destroyed so I always have a few handy.

Also 100% cotton 3 inch wide boatyard rope – 4 ft length; I tie a big knot in the middle – for tug of war games and general swinging around.

This thread should require video of happy ponies playing with their toys. I’ve really never had a horse play with toys. One likes to play with the muck bucket, though. But when we got a jolly ball, nothing. My dog ended up eating the handle.

We had a four year old babysitting with the yearlings one winter.
We watched him pick a light 5’ long stick and wave it at the colts.
One or more would pick the ends and all play with it.
We saw it as desensitizing the colts for us.

He also played with turkeys.
