Yup, we offer 2XL.

EXCITEMENT

Oh right size 16, because that is 2XL :frowning:

Dover is carrying more plus size stuff these days. However, since FullerFillies bit the dust, I haven’t seen any place that offers the larger plus sizes.

And if I may run off on a tangent…Several months ago I spotted a show coat on clearance sale at Dover in a size 22. I had a brief moment of excitement. Then I tried it on. Why can’t anyone manage to get the proportions right on plus size? I’m fat. I have boobs. I don’t have ape-length arms and I’m not 6’5". Why is it so hard?

Have they gone totally? I heard they were re branding?

They have rebranded as Pluss in Boots, but as far as I know, are just selling boots and some leftover Fuller Fillies half-chaps (not sure if they plan to start making half-chaps under the Plus in Boots brand or just sell out what they’ve got).

Based on what I’ve seen on their Facebook page, I believe that the founder would like to get back into the clothing side of the business, but I kind of feel like that may be mostly wishful thinking at this point.

This ^^^^. I’m afraid to order anything in extended sizes. Seems manufacturer’s have a very different idea of what extended is in relation to what I think or wear. Size 16 = to 2XL, is probably cut slim so won’t fit really fit a size 16 or a 2XL. I ordered a Piper winter coat in their XXL last winter, it’s way to snug to be comfortable. I have an old Riding Sport winter coat in XL that fits really baggy.

What I desperately need is a pair of off the shelf tall boots with a WIDE foot! If only men’s came in small enough sizes. Boots now have such a narrow foot, even the square toe boots. I have old beat up feet.

Yes! I do need a wide calf, but a couple different off-the-shelf boots will work for me in terms of calf size. However, I also wear extra wide shoes and there is NOTHING that comes wide enough in the foot. Fortunately, paddock boots and half chaps meet my basic needs.

As a general rule with the equestrian manufacturers, XL is not the same as 1X, and XXL is not the same as 2X. It can be misleading on the websites when they say they carry plus size stuff but all they have is an XXL that is still cut small! It’s just so hard to predict.

@17hTBmare the Pipers do come in a lot of sizes and colors, but you might also check what inventory is left in your size in the Hadley breeches. IMO they are nicer, more comfortable, and hold up better. So of course SmartPak is doing away with the plus sizes in them  But they still have some size/color combinations in stock and possibly even some left on clearance.

Dear lord. If ever there were a name worse than Fuller Fillies, its surely Plus in Boots.

@Madison where did you hear that SmartPak is getting rid of the pus Hadleys? I recently emailed them about getting tan in my size and was told they are committed to providing a wide range up to 48 and that the tan was just temp out of stock…

An email from SmartPak Customer Care back in early May!!! The rep said she checked with the Merchandising team and “[a]t this time we are discontinuing any size over 38R in Hadley breeches.” She went on to suggest the Pipers were the alternative, and I responded and expressed my disappointment because the Hadleys were great and the Pipers IMO are not comparable, particularly in the tan for showing. So, I would be thrilled if they have subsequently reversed that decision!

Maybe someone from @SmartPak Customer Care will see this and weigh in??

@ecileh I’m adding an update that I hopped on SmartPak’s website and did the live chat, and they said they aren’t discontinuing after all, so they must be waiting for new stock, although they don’t yet list the size option in the tan ones, which are also my priority, so who knows when they will come in, but at least there is now hope!

Now let’s just hope that restocking date isn’t the 9th of Never, lol!! But at least there is hope.

You guys are great!. I have 2 pairs of Pipers, but in my opinion, the quality is sub-par. The zippers don’t stay up on either pair, and in case they were too tight, they are 42s, and I don’t see a larger size on the website. I also have a pair of Ovations and I find them stiff and heavy. I’ve never heard of Hadley’s. I guess what I have to do is get in touch with customer service and see what is available. For example, my Pipers are 42, and Bristol Bay says they go up to 48. Smartpak seems like it has good customer service. I’ll also keep an eye on Adams, Equine Essentials, Equine Collections, and Irideon. Thank you!

The Pipers definitely come in sizes above 42, but their inventory has been hit or miss. Check another style or color.

this is what they have left in the full-price Hadleys (mostly Charcoal and Black), they have some colors in their clearance section too but sizes are pretty picked over now. https://www.smartpakequine.com/pt/hadley-breeches-by-smartpak--knee-patch-14691 The Hadleys are a lot nicer than the Pipers IMO - comfortable enough to wear all day without being desperate to change out of them, lol!

I have several pairs of Pipers in a 46 mid rise that I tried to sell used – one pair at least still has tags! I just don’t like the way they fit me.

Off to check the Hadley’s and see if there are any of those that might fit me!

More of a tight, though they do have belt loops and wonderful pockets are the Sticky Seats! Their 2x fits me and I’m taking a 3x in most things.

Hey guys, I was cleaning my cupboards over the weekend and I hate to ever toss things when I might find a FREE home for one of them. I have a brand new 24 black dressage coat, but it does not have tags and I can’t be bothered to put it on eBay. Let me know if one of you want it, FREE. I also have a size 34 size-zip pair of breeches, in that hunter puke green; they are knee patch not full seat. They are faded a bit from going through the wash, but otherwise fine.
