Would this coat be wildly inappropriate for AQHA huntseat

Four buttons? That synthetic fabric? I feel like I haven’t seen anyone wearing a coat like that for anything? I wonder how many Kerrits has sold. I have so many questions!

It’s not uncommon at dressage shows, I Coats. kind of slate blue one myself and it’s nice for summer when it’s not quite hot enough to waive coats.

That coat would be illegal for dressage–it definitely is not a subtle pattern.

I think vxf’s point is that the breed shows that tend to have the wildly patterned/colored attire are not wearing the newer synthetic materials and four button coats–they’re still wearing wool and three-button style jackets.

I don’t mean the solid colors, just the plaid. I cannot imagine what market that’s for. I have three button version of that coat in a solid color. It’s quite like other coats you’ll see in the hunter/jumpers. But the combo of plaid, that fabric, and four button strikes me as very odd

It is odd to me too but that’s why I like it lol. To add to the mystery I have never seen this coat w this pattern anywhere other than the Dover website. Not on Kerrits. Not on any other store. And I’m a Kerrits fan girl bc they are one of the few companies that fit my curvy 5’11 self so I keep utd on their products.

I am not one to tell anyone NOT to wear what they want! It’s just a really odd coat and I am wondering what Kerrits was thinking when they decided to do it!!!
