WWYD... horse being misrepresented

CoronaWorld makes this an even more complex situation. Seems like people are more willing to buy off video than before, because going to try the horse is just so complicated and potentially dangerous. So if they take this “pro” at her word, they’re going to wind up with a completely inappropriate horse. I really feel for you, OP.

What an unethical, crappy thing to do. I don’t know how she thinks she is going to get $30k for the horse you describe (more of a pro ride, not very proven). All of her lies when you confronted her scream horse dealer to me. I truly hope he lands in the right hands. You have every reason to be upset. You were lied to, and you sold the horse to the ideal home. Except, she was lying about being the ideal home, and was just looking to make some money. Whether it is at the horse’s expense or not.

Lots of aphorism come to mind like “buyer beware”, “once bit, twice shy”, “never look a gift horse in the mouth” etc etc. The English language is full of phrases and idioms relating to dodgey horse dealing. It goes back into pre-history. Just a life lesson learned hard. The seller has sold, no longer her problem. The buyer needs to take care but not the sellers problem

Can you pm me the name of this person? Disgusting business practices. Sorry about what happened.

This is a 2 year old thread but it would be interesting to know what eventually happened with the horse?
