Kind of a long story. I bought a $400 saddle when I got my horse 4 years ago. I always thought it fit. Then recently I got a Dale Chavez show saddle and OMG the seat is amazing. Just automatically puts me in the right place/posture. So I my work saddle was probably junk and I needed a DC trainer for schooling.
Darling daughter had a saddle fitter out for her dressage saddle and I had her look at the western saddle. Turns out my work saddle fits him very well. Just one shim on the left shoulder to help balance his left handedness. Put the show saddle on and it fits even better.
Darling Husband is over the moon that I don’t need and am not getting a DC work saddle!!!
