Too funny. If you’re on FaceBook could you please join the Nagland group (it’s actually full of funny stuff) and post that on my post?
@SharonA1. Did you go to FB and comment? Someone posted ‘people please! This is a beautiful picture and tells its own story. For all of you who seem to think they need to point out ‘tack errors’ just need to accept it for the precious story it tells. Get a life people!’
I feel vindicated
And now I must search the internet for all AI horse pictures and flood the group. This is someone’s reply:
“We don’t like fake pictures when there are brilliant photographers out there who create real images having their work effectively ripped off by crappy AI images!”
Jaysus! And the group was created just for fun
I would like to get the little girl some dressage lessons. When she learns the aids for turn on the forehand, she can position her pony so that she doesn’t have to fall off over the front of him to put the letter in the mailbox.
I’m not going to stare too hard at it otherwise because AI-generated artwork is seriously uncanny valley territory when you pay too close attention… but it understood what a pony looks like. You take a basic quadruped shape and cover it in fur. Then more fur. Then even more fur. Stop when it stops looking like it has legs.
AI art is theft. This person is right.
AI art does not create - it literally STEALS and mashes together the work of real, human artists WITHOUT PERMISSION. It’s no different than someone cropping out a watermark or signature and claiming it as their own.
AI is theft. AI is not art. Support real, human artists who spend their talent, time, energy, and money to give us beautiful work. Share their art (with credit!).
ETA: this isn’t an attack on OP - it is a cute picture, but this subject is one with a heavy impact to me personally. Best practice is to share art with credit to the creator - but honestly a cute meme here and there isn’t going to change the world. Don’t feed the engines (even for fun!), don’t seek out or follow AI accounts, and support human artists whenever you can.
I love looking at the AI pretty pictures of horses people post and laughing at all the weird things you see when you look closer. Most of them get more ridiculous the longer you look at them, it’s hilarious. I actually typically assumed the posters weren’t really horse people and didn’t notice, just shared the pretty pony pic.
In other words, I 100% would have been making comments too. Sorry OP!!
