You Get Off The Counter!
If it helps, I remember being totally disgusted by my dear pets in my later stages of pregnancy. The feeling does fade after a while.

My cats started trying to claim the counter.
I told my dog to “get the kitties!” which means he runs up to them and barks.
The dog figured out that I did this every time the cats were on the counter, and pretty soon he became the counter police on his own.
I would hear him bark and see a cat fleeing the counter.
Now they don’t bother trying.

Good luck!
My dog is the “re-enforcer” when we take him to my inlaw’s house. When my MiL yells at the cat for being up on the counter or table, the dog will drop whatever he’s doing and go help yell at it. The cat always hightails it out of the room. The cat still climbs everywhere when we don’t bring the dog.
Last time we were over (sans dog), we heard MiL yelling in the kitchen to “get out of that! NO NO NO!” We all just looked at each other, silently acknowledging that whatever the cat was eating or sitting in would be served anyway. :dead:

Sigh. They cant be outside cats, they’re hairless.

Woke up this morning to a big ol cat poo in the tube and pee. That has never happened.

We didn’t change litter and dh cleans the boxes everyday. He’s said that every day he is finding more and more poops
Scattered around the basement (where the box is).

Unfortunately once we know which cat it is that cat is being rehomed. Either that or dh is rehoming himself. After dropping tens of thousands on remodeling, he’s done.

I’m not surprised he is snapping. It took 4 years of one peeing all over the house now the basement now the only tub???

My offer still stands if you need to rehome your naked kitty. But in the meantime try cat attract litter. Works wonders for nursing barn cats back to health in the house who aren’t litter trained at all.

Snowflake I will pm you when I know who it is. I think I know but I need to be 100%.
I’m 98% it’s not the female. She’s never done anything wrong really.

we all have the things that make us draw a line in the sand and this would be it for me as well. I am very, very not good with cats or dogs who urinate/defecate inappropriately.

I think after this past year with the boys has taught me I’m a dog person lol.
