My skinny, toothless kitty LOVES rotisserie chicken from the grocery store. She knows when I bring one home or when I take it out of the refrigerator. She meows incessantly until she gets a little plate of shredded chicken.
if you have a petco near you go there and see if they have Soulistic wet food. It is grain free and it is REAL meats! I have yet to find a flavor that the finicky, will only eat chicken or I will die, IBS/Liver cat will turn down. Their Autumn Bounty (I think that is what it is called) is real chicken breast in pumpkin soup. The only flavor he is eh about is the chicken in gelee, which I cannot fault him for that it looks funky, but if I put it in the microwave and heat it up a bit he snarfs it down. His fav though is Luna Tuna which is tuna in pumpkin soup. He also devours every flavor of the Merrick Perfect Bistro, well mostly. He is not keen on beef pate, but sucks down the beef wellington.

If you have a Petsmart around, their “Simply Nourish” canned foods are “kitty crack” to all cats i’ve tried them on. It looks good, even to me!
Not really food, but my cats (all 4 of them) are obsessed with these. Even the one who, when given a greenie, will bat it around the room and then forget about it, gobbles these up. I have also been woken up in the middle of the night to the sound of our big male cat trying to figure out how to open the bag! At least it’s calories.

Alright, I think we are through the worst of it! Yay! Juliet ate a healthy portion of her regular wet food this morning 
I was going to say raw chicken thighs, including the fat. Rabbit and quail were next on the list and sometimes I would make a slurry of raw egg and sardine.
I’ve not had much luck getting an off cat to try something more “junky” than what I normally feed. Other than the super smelly sardine, which was hit or miss, they seem to prefer less odor and a tablespoon every few hours until they feel better.
