So, if he isn’t even paying his attorneys, why does anyone else think that they are going to get anything out of him?
Actually, its the other way around. Zayat has left people high and dry with 6 figure bills for years. What kind of lawyer thought that they would be different and that Zayat would pay him?

Actually, the bankruptcy court takes a dim view of things like this. Want your bankruptcy petition thrown out? This could do it.
Is it delay, or does he have a problem paying counsel?
The Trustee seems to believe Zayat is hiding assets in Egypt.

In a Chapter 7, if he isn’t at least trying to pay on that home, I would think that he’s going to lose it. And, how about those property taxes?
Well, His brother kept a roof over Zayat’s family’s head.
It will be interesting to see if he makes another come back.
if money is still hidden overseas; which I would bet that it is; then I bet he starts surfacing again in about five years. His entire family, including the kids live extravagantly. Question would be how much money is hidden off shore and is it enough to sustain his antics while paying back the debts? not sure. Not even sure there is income coming in to sustain his lifestyle other than money already stashed.
