Is there a difference:
Zweibruecker vs Rheinland Pfalz Saar vs RPSI?
Rheinland Pfalz Saar, abbreviated to RPSI, is the registry that the Zweibruecken horse is registered with. I own one Zweibruecker.
It’s like Thoroughbreds…
Jockey Club, abbreviated to JC, is the registry that the Thoroughbred horse is registered with. I own one Thoroughbred.
Not 100% sure on Zweibruecker, but Rheinlad Pfalz Saar and RPSI are the same thing. 99% sure that Zweibruecker is too, but don’t quote me.
Zweibruecker = Rheinland-Pfalz-Saar = RPSI in USA.
want proof?
All RPSI horses are branded with a brand depicting a two-hole bridge
And, just to clarify, Rhinelander is not a RPSI! I’ve heard people call their RPSI (aka Zweiburker) horses Rhinelanders, and that is not correct. Who dreams all of this up:lol:
"And, just to clarify, Rhinelander is not a RPSI! "
Rheinlander is a sub book of Westphalia, according to my experience. *Dekor was a Reheinlande or Rheinischpferde, and was licensed by them and by Westphalia back in the day. I am not sure if their stud book still exists or has been merged. He also had a special mark on his papers for having passed the cart test, which is no longer given. :yes:
