If this is off topic delete it but I’m going to try to clear some things up
From what I’ve been told, Tony didn’t work out in his first “forever home” coming from his rescue, so the family gave him back to the rescue. The rescue then put him back up for adoption. I am currently inquiring about Tony and am most likely adopting him soon. If/when I adopt Tony he will remain with me for the rest of his life where he will be pampered and loved dearly. Tony is schooling as a hunter and my intentions are to keep his as a hunter and possibly do some liberty with him to keep his mind engaged. Tony will not be over worked by any means and if he shows any signs in not enjoying working he will be fully retired again or working only as much as he wishes to do. If he no longer enjoys undersaddle work but still wants to think, liberty work will continue and riding will end. Anyone that has any questions is more than welcome to message me her or email me @belledevault@gmail.com
@Myhorsedosentapprove Sorry, I’m not buying it.
This horse was supposed to be permanently retired. This rescue does not sell horses. This rescue is, at this time, advertising this horse as a success story, happily living in his forever adoptive home, the rescue has not put him back up for adoption on their site.
If you really want to clear this up it’s easy.
Have the representative of the rescue you are dealing with (with correct contact info included) come to COTH and post that this horse is being re-homed with you.
thank you for the clarification and update. so sorry your good intentions have been slapped around here. it’s great that the rescue is flexible and forward thinking enough to keep the horses welfare at the front. sounds to me like you have the perfect home. best wishes
myhorsedoesntapprove, thank you for the update and you and tony have my best wishes for a happy future together.
I have left a voicemail and an sent an e-mail to the rescue.
I hope they respond here.
I’m sorry you don’t buy it but I never posted my original comment with intentions of starting drama and I will not continue this argument so you’re allowed to believe whatever it is that you please to believe or if you wish to continue the discussion privately, email me at belledevault@gmail.com
Myhorsedoesn’tapprove,
Sorry your thread got hijacked. Good luck with your new horse once you get him home; and I’m sure lots of folks here would be interested in hearing how things go with him.
All the best!
More like abducted by an alien :disgust:
Best of luck to you both, I hope you have many happy years together.
This was @Glimmerglass 's thread. not @Myhorsedosentapprove’s thread, and caring what happens to Callmetony is right on topic,

Please tell him thank you from me, Linny. This story made my day.
Tony update (Delete if considered off topic)
To those curious of Tony’s current condition; my trainer and I are currently on the way back from Tony’s rescue and he is in our trailer for a two week trial period. If all goes well, he will continue to live with us at the barn I train at, I’ll gladly keep updates for those that want them but if this isn’t allowed on the discussion, please contact me at belledevault@gmai.com
It is absolutely allowed. Best of luck to you both!
And pictures are always welcomed.
