I agree findeight! There is only one local show that sets courses to ride nicely for the smaller strided local show horses at the lower jumps. He sets his away lines a bit short.
The rest set them at full on 12’ for the little jumps and the smaller local show horses. Even in the little indoor rings. And with three and four stride lines, where you really don’t have much thinking time. I have seen half the class with stops (with or without falls), scary gaps, chips, at the out oxer.
