I thought this was very cool. She is from Terrebone, Oregon.
Is there a link to an article?
I noticed CNN had one: https://www.cnn.com/2019/08/24/us/18…rnd/index.html
“An 18-year-old woman won a 100-mile endurance race with a free horse from Craigslist”
Such good news, thank you for sharing. Her mother is a SIL’s SIL. All the family does is eat, drink, and sleep horses. One year the teen son won the Haggins on the oldest horse in the race.
This story absolutely warms my heart. So,so, thrilled for this young woman and her family.
It also solidifies my opinion that all the good endurance horses are being bred on the west coast!! I had to bring mine from Olympia, WA to western PA.
Stuck in stock horse county around here for sure.
