Trying to find my old horse… He’s 23, plain bay, and TB. Spent most of his life showing and winning at PSJ, SCHJA, and GHJA shows. I named him Count On Me and called him Romeo. His jockey club name is Gracious Dancer. He had or has lived in the Columbia, SC area for the past 10 years.
I heard he may have ended up in a retirement situation at a place outside of Camden that does some knd of program with prisoners.
I thought the owners understood that I wanted him to retire with me when he was no longer able to be useful as a lease or show horse, but I guess not.
I treasured this horse- he was a big very meaningful part of my life and I have loved him for so, so long. :sadsmile: :sadsmile:
