2+1 Trailer weight and tow vehicle

Hello all! In the market for a new vehicle and have decided on a truck. Eventually I would like to buy a 2+1 trailer so I’m taking that into consideration while shopping for this new truck. My current trailer is a 2h all aluminum bumper pull so pretty much everything can pull it. I’m having a hard time finding weights for these 2+1s. Who has one and can tell me what it weighs?

This is an ad for a 2+1 Sundowner, which is 5060 lbs. Some brands may be substantially heavier. Remember that you will find yourself putting 2 or 3 horses, tack, water, and lots of hay in the trailer if you go on long trips. The weights ad up pretty quickly.

We have a Jamco 2+1 (or 3+1) that is 8’ wide and 7’6" tall, about 7K empty and puts 2-3K on the hitch.

Friend pulls hers (approx 6000lb empty) with a Dodge 2500 diesel.
I pull my 2+1 with living quarters (9500 lbs empty) with Dodge dually, diesel.
No problems with either.

I have a jamco 2 plus 1 with 4 foot dressing room, there is no empty weight on the tag but the fully to capacity load max is rated at 10,400 lbs

Our Jamco 2+1 has a GVWR 18,500 pounds.
