2 Endurance Riders join Cowboys on cattle drive

We’d moved small groups of cows out of our canyon before, but we joined the Real Cowboys and Cowgirls for a real drive of about a hundred head of cows and calves and bulls. Our horses were a little hot at times, but we didn’t fall off, and most of the time we were actually useful. Our horses learned a lot.

We definitely did NOT help with the sorting in a corral, which was fast and furious. We left that to the experts - the cowboys and cowgirls and cowhorses know what they are doing, they are amazing to watch. I took a few photos and videos during the day (when I didn’t have to hang on with both hands!).

COOOOLLLLLL! what an amazing opportunity for you (and your equines)!

Super cool!!! Thanks for sharing the videos-it looks like a blast!

It WAS a blast! If I go again… I might take a different horse. Dudley might be better… and he might not be better!

Love this!!!
