April Fools Day foal video
Here’s a short video of the foal at our farm taken yesterday.
Blingy Abke filly!
Our Westphalian mare finally blessed us with a spectacular dark bay filly, very tall, modern, and blingy (3 socks and a tornado type marking on her face)! We cannot thank Judy Yancey enough for helping us pick the perfect stallion for our mare, and for handling the breeding. We are so thrilled with this cross! 
In addition, we have a lovely big bay colt by Apiro out of our Hanoverian (Walldorf x Dederick) mare. He is very fancy and loves people.

Marex2, your filly is lovely. My red, red, red chestnut Hanoverian mare with a wide blaze is also expecting a Rubignon in May. It would be wonderful if she produces a dark filly!
Thank you for the compliment on my filly! I will send “dark” vibes to your redhead too! I was quite surprised to see my little ebony lady, but I am so in love with her. My Pointmaker mare needed a shorter back and longer leg, and Rubignon definitely improved those areas as well as gave her a very pretty refined head. Her temperament is super, very friendly and accepts everything already such as leading, picking up feet,etc…

I am very pleased to announce the arrival of the first of two foals expected this year. EM Diotima (Donnerschlag/Matrose) delivered a healthy filly last night by Starlight. Very friendly filly, black with a star, snip and one small white sock.
Indiscreet had a Popeye K colt on April 6
We welcomed our first two foals of this year.
FrostyOak Kodiak was born March 28th. He is by the pure Cleveland Bay stallion FrostyOak Hampton and out of a Welsh/Qh mare.
FrostyOak Katinka was born on my late father’s birthday April 4th. She is by our CB Sporthorse stallion All Eyez On Me and out of our pure CB mare Peters Creek Jasmine (Jasmine will be put to the pure CB for a pure next year). The filly is being retained by us.
Now a break til end of May and four more due!

Sorry you guys are going to have to put up with me this being my first foal I bred:winkgrin:! Here Jozz is at a week…she’s got lots of energy! Didn’t stand still for one pic.

Kerole~ Thanks! lol, yes this is the front of the property. We weren’t ready to turn them loose in our turn out fields yet as they are 3 acre fields with trees, so we just kept the mare on a lead rope out front to exercise the filly her first day! Thanks for the kind words!

We had our first foal of the year born on 4/8 at the respectable hour of 9:00pm (thought that was kind of mama!).
Bay Balou du Rouet filly out of a TB mare. She actually has white on all four but the RF and LH are minimal. She’s very curious and playful. We are very pleased with this cross! :winkgrin:

Yes that Balou foal is very very nice (mama looks like a lovely type too). I too, love the half length blaze. Unusual and very cool!
You guys are so kind! Thank you We’re not sure what to call the filly’s face marking…half blaze? This filly (no name yet) makes me even more excited for our second Balou foal due this summer.
