2012 COTH Secret Santa -- Sleighs On The Way!
I’m hoping my giftee liked everything. Haven’t heard anything from her other then she got it. Never heard if she got the other package that was being sent either. So hoping it all made it there.
I’m SO sorry I haven’t thanked you yet - it’s been a very hellish past two weeks.

But I was so overwhelmed when I opened my packages (yep, I got the other one)! You did a wonderful job; I loved everything! The hat and cooler from Adelaide were especially cool - I’ve been wearing the hat to work every day

My lovely blue Roma pad is great, and I’ve been contemplating getting my boy’s registered name on it wink wink

And thank you SO much for the scarves. I’ve been wearing them all over the place. Pretty sure my family is wondering about my sudden obsession…

Little Sammie thanks you for her brand-new toy. She refuses to let me have it to play tug-of-war haha!

The soaps (from our very own LovelyBay) were just great. I opened them as soon as they arrived and it just made my day!

You’re so wonderful and you made the holidays bearable! I was completely beside myself. Thank you, thank you!!!

KTRIDER!!

SOOOO sorry for the delay in a thank you!

opened my second box on Christmas-- LOVE the key fob! it’s even “cooler” that you actually went to the training center in Spain :D:D

love the saddle pad, can not have too many of those! candle is burning as I type, one of my fav scents!

you’re a GREAT SS! and the only person I received any horsey items from

thank you again, hope your New Year is bright!

So no one got grinched? Is this a great year or what for secret santa!

F I N A L L Y! Superminion, I don’t know HOW you knew what to send! That book is PERFECT for my endless desire to help my chronically lame gelding! The tee shirt is something I would buy! THe bridle was way over the top and will be put to good use!

It came on time btw, but I have had an ongoing battle with ATT after attempting to sign up for uverse to save some money. No phone, no internet and new computer has not been compatible with COTH! I just got internet service back and figured out how to get on here with the new computer!!

THank YOU SO MUCH! You made my CHristmas!!! Cothers are the BEST!

Phew! I was worried! I was really hoping that you didn’t think I grinched you! DD and I had a ball shopping… That book is by far my most favorite and wanted to share, I hope that it helps!

So glad you liked everything! Visiting the training center in Spain was awesome, so I figured any horse person would appreciate a little something from a place like that. It was beautiful.

Also, I did PM my SS, but I’ll give a shout-out here too - I got Hunter Boot clogs that are wonderful! I never even knew about them, and now I don’t want to take them off. So comfy! Plus a very cute dog wall hanging that’s already up by my front door. Thanks Clear Sailing!

Eleanor, sorry I am running so late! Thank you for all of the wonderful gifts! The bag is really lovely, the socks are great, I was so excited to see the knife as I have been in need of one for a while, the cookies were excellent (and lasted about 5 minutes), the ornament is really cute, the browband is going to look snazzy on my bay girl (and blue is my favorite color) and the zipper pull went on my favorite sweatshirt immediately! I was just amazed how much stuff you fit in that package  Thank you, thank you

YAY! Glad everything made it there safe and sound and that you love it! (I had this typed out just after you posted but computer ate it! )

I loved that colour blue of the saddle pad/lead rope. Actually got the same lead rope for myself just debating donating it to work or not. lol I think the pad would look great with his name on it which i love and you should totally do :stuck_out_tongue: hehe

In my mind you can’t go wrong with a scarf, love them!

Glad that Sammie loves the toy, I was sad that I couldn’t send her any kangaroo meat treats which most dogs seem to love and I couldn’t not include her. And I couldn’t find any peppermints to send your handsome boy either! :frowning:

And the soaps , which I haven’t actually had a chance to buy for myself yet. The lavender is because there is a ton around the farm. The eucalytus (cant spell that word! aka gumtrees) because well it’s Aussi! Can’t remember the other one I chose for you.

Very very very happy you love everything and could brighten your holidays. Loved shopping for you! hugs

Laurel aka P.

So glad to see your post. I have been worrying that you didn’t like anything or part of it. I made the bag myself, (the reason the parcel was sent late) I had made one for me about two months before. I added the key rings to your because I hate looking for my keys and gave you the extra pockets inside for all the other little things that we seem to carry now. It is a great size for taking when you travel for books and treats. I use mine to carry stuff for the barn. I go to the barn from work so have my change of clothes and snack food in it.
I loved the colors of the browband and thought it might be fun. I just loved the ornament and had a hard time wrapping it and putting it in the box. I so would have keep it, but I had got it for you. I will just have to keep my eyes open for another one. I would have sent more treats but I don’t like to when crossing the boarder, less chance of it getting stopped.

Hope you had a great Christmas and have a outstanding New Year!

We warmbloods want to wish everyone a Happy New Year! We know a lot of people have had a bad time in 2012, so we hope all of you have a better year next year.

We had a pretty good year. We were healthy all year, so that was a great thing.

So Happy New Year to all our fellow elves out there.

Wow, dghunter! What a fabulous elf!

First of all, the timing was perfect - my box arrived on Christmas Eve, so I did not have to show much will power in waiting until Christmas morning to open my presents! And they were the first ones I opened! I’m so glad it got there in time! I was debating whether to send them overnight or not, but then the mail woman told me that would be $80  So I’m glad they got there anyways!

Can’t wait to read Casino Royale again, and I have heard The Company is great, and it was on my list to buy. I’m curious to hear how The Company is. It looked intriguing! I actually got BF a deluxe edition of the movie Casino Royale too

The puppies (young and old) loved their Kong balls and treats, and the peppermints are already in my barn bag, ready to bring out to be shared with humans and equine alike. Glad they enjoyed everything!

Your baked goods are so yummy - I will be sad when they are all gone (which won’t be long).

I love my “box 'o relaxation” and can’t wait to try Foaling Around’s soaps. I recently “Liked” her on Facebook after reading about her here, but had not ordered any yet. I’ve been using her soaps this last week and I have to say I’m in love! The bath salts are wonderful too!

And last but not least, the saddle pad is absolutely beautiful! I am going to be afraid to use it, because I don’t want to mess it up! I will be so jealous if you are talented enough to have done the hand-painting customization yourself! I could never do that! The saddle pad is actually another COTHer’s work! Her account is Polar Square Designs and she’s on facebook too. I was so pleased with how yours came out that I’m considering ordering one after the first of the year!

Thank you again, so much, for your thoughtful gifts! I hope you had a really wonderful Christmas, and that 2013 is full of joy and laughter.
It was so fun shopping for you! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Dear SS (who didnt reveal herself),
Thank you for my gift! I love the socks (and have already worn then around the house, as it’s hovering around ten degrees)!
thanks again,
Amm2cd

I got a bunch of goodies from Mtn Trails. There were Mrs. Pasture’s cookies for the ponies and fancy chocolates for me (yum!), a wild horse calendar, winter riding gloves (perfect fit!), warm boot socks, my favorite Lederbalsam leather conditioner, and a large mug with horses on it. Thanks so much!
I’m so glad you liked everything. I figured in your neck of the woods, warm gloves and socks would be good to have and a mug for cocoa when you came in from the barn. The calendar for the saga of the 2 “wild” horses that were around your area. I love the lederbalsam so glad you like it too.

Thanks again for the pad and halter. Xena just has to grow a lot before she’ll fit into it. She’ll look so cute with her personalized halter.

So am I to assume that Chocomare pulled it off 100 percent? No Grinched folks?
That is awesome!!! Let’s hear it for Chocomare!!! Thank you for all the hard work you put into this every year!!!:winkgrin:

I haven’t received mine yet, but my Elf was in contact so I think it’s just the slow postal system… (plus, had to cross the border).

OMG yes, blugal. We sent our package to Eleanor in Canada, and the meese took forever, something like 2 or 3 weeks, to let it go through customs.

I got my package last week… just haven’t signed on in a while! Loved the socks!

JUSTABAY

I am still enjoying the candy that you sent. I think that I have gained 10 lbs The chocolates in the Hudson Bay mug are WONDERFUL ! I got compliments on the scarf
Thanks again for your great gifts .

A much belated thank you to shiningwizard255! I loved everything (that cheese popcorn was dangerously amazing…) and can’t wait to sample all the local coffees!
So glad you enjoyed. I agree, I can polish off a bag of that popcorn by myself in one sitting!

It was fun picking out your gift. Happy holidays
