I finally found the time to get some video on our April 23, 2013 Don Alfredo/Pablito/Salut colt, Devereaux NHF. He really likes to canter so it was tough getting him to show off his pretty hunter trot

Here is Alejandro, born May 10th just before 1am. He’s by Albarez (Alcatraz/Loutano) out of Cuba, a retired jumper mare by Continue/Weinberg/Pilot. This little guy went 360 days, then he had a rough first week due to a meconium impaction and subsequent infection, but now he’s fully recovered and feeling quite frisky! Just like my previous Albarez foal, he is super brave, independent, and very people-friendly. He was sold in-utero, so I told his owner I hope she likes bling because she got plenty!!

I’m an idiot, it was 338 days!! So no, no shock at all
I will go and edit that!
This is our new bay sabino (turning grey) Welsh/TB pony hunter filly by Alvesta Picasso and out of Sporting Life by Penrhyn Sporting Chance. We’ve decided to call her Daventry’s Nightlife and her barn name is PJ.
We were at foal Shows this Weekend and my Colt by Demirel out of SPS Flaminia (Florencio) - Prince Thatch xx was selected for the elite foal auction in August in Verden.
I feel quite honored especially since the inspectors said to me you can think about it, but we are going to report the foal to Verden in any case because we really like him and want to secure him for the auction. (They had the fear that someone tries to snatch him up at the foal show I guess, as a wellknown Vechta auction rider approached me right after our presentation). So: here we go auction in Verden. Hope he stays fit and healthy.
You can find new Pictures of him on the pro photographers page: www.kiki-beelitz.de than click on Termine/Veranstaltungen - than 2013 - than Mai - than Fohlenschau Ströhen and than go to catalog number 27.
And we have a Video:
Congratulations! He’s lovely.

Alexandra he’s lovely! well done.
My new Silvermoon has arrived!
Hi, finally found a few spare minutes to get onto the computer. Its been a long time!
I’m very pleased to be able to say that my latest Silvermoon baby has arrived. Its a black colt. His dam is called Del so he has got to be called Rodney. (If you haven’t watched Only Fools and Horses you may not get the joke)
His dam is De Niro x Prince Thatch xx from the direct damline of Piccolino who won gold medals at the World and European Championships.
Now I’ve had three Silvermoons out of two different mares I can say with a bit more confidence that he adds a lot of beauty and elegance to his offspring. I’ve still no idea why he isn’t used more often. His record shows 6 offspring out of non-Trakehner mares. One was Blue Hors Matine, another was Succes who did International GP dressage with Lars Petersen. The other three are ones I’ve bred and none of those are old enough to be under saddle yet. He’s also sired an advanced eventer, another international GP dressage horse and a super allround mare who does dressage, showjumping and driving. Love him!
Here’s the new boy. Photos are when he was 12 hours old. Video shows him at 3 days old.

And this is Jerry. He’s just turned two. By Silvermoon (of course  ) and out of an Irish Draught x TB mare. He’s 16.1 already so probably going to finish at 17.1hh. Some lovely people bought his older brother as a foal but he is much smaller, likely to make 16.1-16.2. Since the man who owns him is 6’3" he’s not going to be big enough. On the other hand I don’t need a 17hh horse. So we may be doing a swap.

Congrats!! Lovely foal.
