2013 Foal Announcements! Let's see those babies!

The newest baby out of my very beloved old CCI** mare (now 21 y/o, I can’t believe it!!) by our young stallion (now a gelding…). With this gallop, she’s definitely going to love X-C like her Mom and older sis.

A- she is a spit fire isn’t she?! I throughly enjoyed the video. Such a fancy little girl

Wit’s End, what a cutie! Congratulations.

You sure did get an enthusiastic one!

Nanilio, I can’t see yours. :frowning: Is it because I’m not on facebook?

WitsEnd,
How old is she in that video? She looks like a Big filly! And yes, very spunky indeed! Thanks for the laugh

Alejandro by Albarez (Alcatraz/Loutano) out of Cuba (Continue/Weinberg/Pilot) - updated pictures at one month old. These were taken right after I body clipped him, so don’t look too closely at his coat!

We had a filly born on 5/28. Very easy delivery! She is by Riverman (HOL) out of Romanesque (Laurinn - Carolus I). I am assuming she will grey. Pictured at 10 days old.

Introducing the KWPN-Na colt Ivy League by Paganini Crown (xHavidoff) out of Adessa Keur (xKoss), born May 13, 2013. I think that this spectacular bay colt is the best foal that I have produced. At 3 weeks of age he showed that he has springs in his feet and should be an outstanding dressage prospect! Adessa is out of Odessa (xAhoy) who was named Gelders Horse of the Year in 2012, in the Netherlands. Adessa tied for the highest score in the North American keurings in 2008. Ivy League’s full sister Hanna-Dessa was awarded Premium at the Keurings last year and named North American Champion Foals/Weanlings - Gelders. I am eager to hear what the KWPN jury thinks of this colt. Please visit my farm Facebook page to see more photos and video of this lovely baby!

Our last mare of the season foaled last night at 11:45 a very large chestnut filly (Amazing/Minardi/Gold Legend) with 4 perfectly matched stockings and a blaze. I am thrilled with her, so correct, well marked, and sweet to boot!

I have made the albums public…beyond that I’m not sure why you wouldn’t be able to see them. Perhaps someone tech saavy can enlighten me.

Nani, wow oh wow!! She’s got serious bone and looks huge! Her markings are absolutely perfect  Really nice filly

Oh Nani that’s a lovely foal. And such a gorgeous mare too! Ditto JB, her markings are perfect, even down to the not-too-fat blaze.

Thank you so much JB and Kerole! I am so pleased with her and will repeat the cross. She is HUGE! Her dam is my smallest mare at 15.2 but the filly is several inches taller than the two that are a week old. Her foals tend to be large but this filly has taken the cake. The mare needs to write the book on how textbook foalings are done. A nice foaling to follow the red bag from the mare before!

That’s great to hear this filly didn’t cause the mare any trouble foaling. It’s so scary to see a foal come out looking several weeks old already! LOL

Oh Lord those ears are just too cute!

On June 13 we welcomed a chestnut filly Tia by World Cup winner Tinka’s Boy out of Heidewolke (Hildebrand). https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=608367495849843&set=a.153994251287172.29272.100000297947158&type=1&theater

These were TOO cute not to share. Mine’s the one with the star.

ok, i finally get to announce - after 367 days - that on June 14th we had a filly!

From my Wolkentanz I mare Wolkendame, by GRP Manchester City. She is everything i dreamed of and more!

Not sure what color she will be: maybe dark brown or sooty buckskin - she has looong legs, a lovely pony head, loads of mane and tail, a lovely coat and just a few hours old already had many of the same mannerisms as my mare.

Did i mention i am in love?

Thanks to Nancy @ Crosiadore Farm for bringing Manchester City to the US and for being great to work with!

I think both Chester & Sophie should be very proud!
