Yes, I had a red dun colt born at our farm last year. He shedded out the most wonderful chocolate colour. I was actually quite nervous/excited as I was picturing a chocolate horse with bright bright red mane and tail! LOL! Ended up going back to his usual old-fashioned red dun colour once he finished shedding. Does momentarily get your hopes up, though!

Sadly, like most chestnuts, most palominos shed very dark the first time around but most of those don’t end up that dark. So sad :([/QUOTE]

New foal photo of Georgia Gold d’Avalon (Goldmaker x Macy’s Rainbow/Mannhattan). She’s turning out to be quite typey and elegant and that lovely creamy buttermilk buckskin color. Doesn’t hurt that she has an in your pocket, what do you want to do now? personality :D!

I have a new video of one of my foals this year. Yippee! This is a Licotus colt out of a Rouletto/ Prince Thatch xx mare in Germany. He is 5 months old here and I wish, wish, wish that he was a she. I’d be bringing her stateside, if that was the case. Sigh…

Ben![](cio foal for me this year !

I never thought I would breed again but last year, I felt in love with Callaho’s benicio, a superbe hanoverian stallion with great scores so I decide to search for a mare.
In 2012, I was given a few months to live as I have a cancer, but I’d say to myself that this foal would be another way to believe in life and in my eventual survival.
So here we go, on april 14th, Bodhi arrived and a month after I had the news, my cancer is not growing and that I could live a couple of years without problems !

Miracles still happen, thanks to God !

Bodhi is by Benicio o/o Calypso II-Gardeulan II

Leena;
He is gorgeous!
And quite an appropriate choice of name

Cancer is afraid of Cranky Old Ladies like us - it gives a try, then goes away shamefaced

LOL ! You must be right as I am turning 53 soon…Cranky old ladie…Hubby will probably agree !

Élène,

I love Bodhi and also love his name. :D:D:D

Thanks so much Marilou !

I too love it and will tell a lot for his futur.

Élène - what a lovely foal. I am jealous of those with Benecio foals, his semen is no longer available. May you enjoy many years of fun and laughter with Bodhi.

F![](nally get to post the arrival of our 2013 foal. Foaled June 24, little grey Sport pony filly by Highlife’s Bodyguard out of our mare TLF Roseanne.

We welcomed a new beautiful, healthy palomino filly at 317 days from our imported Welsh Pony mare *Holyoake Tamzin, on July 19th at 8:30pm! We’ve named our “princess pony” Lorelei Dior. Her sire is *Wedderlie Mardi Gras, a cross we will be repeating!

She is gorgeous! Congratulations!

Red, White and Balou aka America

We are thrilled to share our girl Red, White and Balou aka America by Amazing (Balou du Rouet) out of our TB mare DoUThinkUCanDance. This little firecracker graced us on the 4TH of July  She is a full sibling to last years colt Aut of the Balou aka Audi. We are beyond thrilled with her. She is by far the most athletic baby we have had to date. She was up and cantering in 30 minute of her birth. We are very excited to watch her develop and mature.
