2020 Noble Eq Guardsman 4-1

I just had my brand new Smart Pak sheet completely fail on me. My 17hh 4 yr old came to me in July skinny, and he has proven hard to get more weight on. So I do not want him burning any calories to stay warm.

I am generally a Rambo fan but was hoping to get something a bit less eye watering in the $ department.

anyone tried the Noble Equestrian 4-1 turnout system? There are zippers that add in 3 potential warmth weights to the shell. Somewhat varilayer style.

I bought one late last winter for my old man… I’ve had trouble finding something to fit him that didn’t get tight through his shoulders. He has a big long neck that is set a bit low, high withers and is fairly wide though the chest. The thick padding at the withers really helps to keep the blanket “up” and does not get tight. So far I really really like it, not just for the price (hello 4 blankets in 1!) but how it fits and I like the closures too. I’m thinking about getting another one for my other guy, but he’s more narrow with a higher set neck so I’m not sure how it will fit. My old mans old Amigo Wugs fit him well though. Stateline Tack had by far the best price even though I had to pay shipping.

Okay thanks. My gelding is a 17hh narrow beast that fits a 78”. He is high withered and narrow.

I needed to size up one from the 78, even though my boy was very short coupled. Not suitable for my TB with a high shark fin, I needed to buy the Optimo for him. Loved, loved the easily placed liners, price, waterproofing, clasps and the memory foam. Just not great for a horse with a higher wither, the darts aren’t placed correctly or good enough. I’ve given it away since.

It might not work for you then… the only thing I wish it had was more velcro across the front closure… if you need it to really overlap across the front closure, the velcro might not meet up.
