Speculating that you know what the injury is can cause the rumor mill to explode, especially based off a 5 second video.
What? People watched a scary ride, a horse fall badly, screens up for a longgggg time. And you’re not permitting anyone to speak about how they feel/think about what they saw? Not cool.
He can have some beautiful rides. Really nice ride this morning as the trailblazer. Good on him and really happy for a good, quick ride.
Also not cool you keep editing your post.
From friends on the ground the horse was loaded onto a trailer and taken to the vet.
live commentary (John and ???) just says two horses held on course.
almost sounds like they are sharing stories about past high level events, just to fill time.
I feel like this might be the longest hold on course I’ve ever seen. Unless it just feels that way?
I deleted the post already. Shall I whip myself as well?Nothing I wrote indicated knowledge of any facts about his status.
Any word on the rider?
This is a five star event: lots of people watching on video. We’re free to talk about it. That is not a ‘rumor mill.’
Will is fantastic, and has been for a long time. Really glad to see him with a couple world-class horses and hope he continues to shine.
Any news on Ashlynn?
I think it’s entirely inappropriate for someone to speculate that they know what the injury is especially when the suggestion is life ending. The horse fell and was loaded onto a trailer and taken to a vet, that is all we know and I hope he’s ok. I edited my post because my internet is dragging with playing the live stream.
Interesting the black grease on Global EX. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it in that color before.
Is it black grease, or just his skin pigment?
It looks like grease. I think I would have noticed those markings in dressage yesterday.
Any word on the rider? They haven’t said anything at KHP beyond that the horse was sedated and vanned out.
Never seen that either! I was just talking about that haha
this will sound uncaring.
but … the rider may have a broken bone or two … that is a risk we all willingly assume as riders, even at the novice level.
life or career ending injury to the horse seems so much worse
Well that was impressive through the Head of the Lake, Colleen Rutledge!
