Lovely ride, clear round for Astier ans Babylon de Gamma

  1. Because another competitor feels that something different from standard warm-up procedure could benefit their horse and didn’t know asking for exceptions was a thing
  2. Because another competitor believes “rules is rules” and didn’t know exceptions are a thing

As I said, something made me think it was another competitor that objected, but when I backtracked I couldn’t find what made me make that assumption. Maybe it wasn’t in which case
event staff? volunteer? Apparently someone with enough clout to hold up Harry’s warm-up.

2 rails and time for Woods. But a much nicer round to watch than yesterday’s XC

JP and Wabbit - 3 rails and time, but their first 5 star completion!

I think it’s awesome that Maryland Public television is showing the livestream for the second year in a row. It’s great that I can just turn my TV on to channel 22 and watch and not have to jump through all the hoops to get live streaming. Last year, I gave them some online feedback about how happy it made me, and I suppose I’ll do it again.

Who is commentating with John Kyle?

Zoe and KEC Zara - one rail and time and a very tactful ride!

Isn’t it just the best, Mango?

Love the announcer referring to Jessica Phoenix and Wabbit as “Jessica Wabbit”.

Harry Meade and Superstition double clear!

And a great fist bump for the security guy on the way out😁

The fiery mare could use some keepers on the floppy straps of the breastplate or running martingale attachment. Or tape if they won’t stay put.

Harry Meade puts in a lovely round.
