I think Cody’s rail may hurt him due to how he rode into that combination and could be faulted to him - it’s so hard to know without scores! I would be surprised if he moves all the way up to 2nd.

Luke was born and raised in Texas, so that explains the southern twang I was hearing. Not sure what else is mixed in there lol.

I have Cody above Olivia because Cody’s hand gallop and halt were brilliant. I did not enjoy the significant hand aid Olivia showed when establishing the counter canter and had her a notch down for that. Kate had one of the same mistakes Cody did (canter step to the trot fence) but also did not show the same degree of brilliance elsewhere. I had Cody high enough numerically that the rail doesn’t drop him below Olivia for me. But I would not be upset if it went another way because everyone left some gaps.

Skylar’s test last year was incredible, but I still think Taylor St. Jacques’ test without stirrups in 2017 is my candidate for best Medal Finals test.

Someone forgot the kids are riding moose again.
Last year I made the comment that the cooler sponsors needed to donate larger coolers for the horses because the children are riding moose now. It appears they got the message. Nobody’s bay bum is hanging out the back of his sheet!

Not long at the big eq level AFAIK. Maybe just this year.
He did a lot of showing at the county level early on with eq mixed in there but that’s probably not what’s being asked.

I feel so bad for Olivia in 12th. She’s getting her picture taken with her ribbons and they’re waxing poetic about Luke.
No disrespect to Luke but now is not the time.
