2024 Maclay Final Thread

My mother had Lalique glasses for the table. Only brought out on special occasions.

Very cool to see the old trophy with all the names from over the years.

I was just wondering what they’re going to do when they run out of space?

Somebody somewhere probably has a plan in place. Maybe they could mount it on a wooden base and then put name plaques around the base.

How do you have the top four?

I always wanted to win a cooler. I won a minor regional finals back in the day when you got a ribbon and could keep the trophy for a year and my wonderful late mother had a dress sheet made for me. One of my favorite possessions (mostly because of Mom).

Well, I think Maddie’s fourth. Lol.

After that, I think you could argue for almost any order of the top three however it suits you.

I also have not seen the scores from the second round, so I don’t know how close together they had them before the test.

Our local schooling series banquet was last night… they had custom coolers made for the high point horse and top lesson horse. Really nice touch.

OK, be that way.

Why drag the ring?

Wish the had an AI audience in the seats. Would look way better.

I think they heard Renn say chop chop :joy:

Interesting that even with a much smaller group this year, it still went for pretty darn close to 11 hours.

Okay, so it looks like Abigail and Rylynn moved way up!

I’m hungry.

I see Kate, I see Brooke, I am happy.

Horses look tired

Yes, they are standing like statues at this point.

This is bad - show management system already has results posted.

Must be exciting for Hayley Ianotti to be part of the training team for a top young rider so early in her pro career.

All except Justify, who is schmoozing.
