Well, there is a lot of chatter about flag football in the next Olympics, and the rabid fans are already salivating about that. But as Mad dog said this morning, Do you really think Joe Burrow or Josh Allen will be playing? No chance. The Olympics are during training camp. So big leaguers will not be there. And even if it were not a conflicted date, due to the possible injuries, no one is going to let their expensive players go.

Flag football is known as the women’s sport. The NFL is promoting it that way and encouraging girls and women to get into it.

There is a professional men’s league as well. And it is widespread as a collegiate and amateur sport for all genders.

These doping disqualifications are so disappointing. It is not as if they don’t know for their entire careers what the parameters are, and how to be clean for the test – and the Olympics.

I would wait for an investigation before assuming it was done purposefully. Trazodone is banned so any amount would cause a positive and it’s commonly prescribed to humans. I could easily see a scenario where this was a mistake or cross contamination.

It’s something that terrifies me every time I have a horse drug tested as someone who is on prescription medication. I wash my hands after taking my meds and I go as far as saving and dating all my feed tags in case we ever need to go back to them. But for banned substances, a simple mistake or pat can be catastrophic.
