It took me a minute to figure out they must be dismissing them. I thought that with no further instruction, they must be keeping them in. I gather the schooling supervisor is Supervising With A Gimlet Eye.

I think it was about getting the test on paper as well as verbally delivered for kids who learn different ways
Well, @supershorty628, when you find yourself clucking in the middle of your work and you don’t know why, it’s because they’re hand-galloping in the work off.

That’s unfortunate she missed 11. It was a smooth rollback though.

Does not show a hand gallop (no change in stride.) Shows a beautiful counter-canter. Goes off course. Shows another beautiful counter-canter. Ugh, what a shame.
Sydney Raidy shows a workmanlike if not spectacular hand gallop and then a dynamite simple change to the counter lead, both ways. An unfortunate swap. She has an excellent position in the air with no irons.
That was nice by Sydney. I feel like someone could do the counter canters a bit smoother.

I’d call that a “bright canter” from Maddie.
I agree with our announcing team here- I think the move is to knock their socks off with the hand gallop and then do a simple change to the counter lead, unless you know in your heart your horse will land whatever lead you want and then hold it as long as you ask. Loved Sydney’s plan.
So frustrating for Maddie! This test is tough!
