But Zero is a maroon (as Bugs Bunny would say) & has probably seen TV or movies where a horse is shot “to put it out of misery”.
I’d bet paper money he has zero idea of the technical aspects of how that is actually done.
At best he’d end up with a horse critically wounded.
I need to stop thinking about this. Too awful to contemplate.

It is awful. But I still have a feeling he wouldn’t be aware that the horse was in misery. Horse feelings don’t seem to be in his vocabulary, at all. Neither does awareness of the horse’s condition. It really does seem to register with him as a vehicle, nothing more. If the horse actually collapses, I suspect he’ll just think the horse is resting, and wait.

If it does occur to him that the horse can’t carry him then it’s just a broken-down vehicle on the side of the road, to be fixed later or just abandoned.

If he gets a glimmer of recognition that there’s something actually wrong with the horse, well, people have come along and fixed all of his other problems. They’ll fix this one, too.

He’ll probably think that his best option is just to sit down and wait. This is not a pro-active person or a problem-solver, and the people he’s met along the ride so far have taught him that they’ll fix everything for him.

last I heard over the weekend was that Cereal was asking for money to purchase a better horse and a pack horse. Foxtrotequine and a few others posted this information.

He wants $60K for Falcon now.

There is a new to me TT posting now too, her name is Mare_stare or something like that. She is organizing a “ride along” of sorts. A small band of riders to follow and record what Cereal is doing making his exclusive footage moot. Its call Falcon Express. Apparently they are organizing taking turns in small groups at atleast pairs of riders for safety and having support follow. He can’t stop them as its all on public lands and if he can ride in the ditch along 87, then so can they.

If he thinks his footage is worth money, they are going to make it worthless by filming behind him recording his progress.

The sad part about this is, someone will likely pay it just to save the horse from him.

Exactly.

Helping him is enabling him. Helping his horse is enabling him.

It is a devil’s bargain, for sure. Helping the horse by relieving some misery keeps the horse going for more future misery. Allowing the horse to suffer brings this all to an end sooner, as the horse breaks down.

It is a horror. But I have no doubt that kind-hearted citizens will continue to enable and keep this going. And going and going.

And that is just enabling Knucklehead to buy another horse to take Falcon’s place on the misery train.

Attempts to help Falcon or save Falcon do not solve the fundamental problem of a knucklehead who is locked on to using an animal to build his ego.

Stayed the night with another good samaritan last night.
Last seen around Snyder, and I’d assume now heading N on 84.

Joey, TexasCactusDude, has been following him and recording him often.

Cereal posted an update 8 or so hours ago to his original update, however that update was about the people that have confronted him. Oh and that he “scheduled” the vet appointment, even though apparently one of the techs from that said vet told her boyfriend abut Cereal - and the boyfriend drunekly confronted Cereal about abusing his horse. Cereal said she has been fired & he is pursuing legal action against them. Unknown if that is the real truth, though someone did at least confirm the altercation. He seems more on edge & irritated in his latest video.

With what money and what time? Need another gofundme for the lawyer. This guy is full of beans.

Exactly. I think he’s blowing hot air.

He’s also since deleted the video.
I’m assuming since it had peoples person info in it, people advised him to delete it. Or maybe because he was getting drug through the mud in the comments and he seemed manic.

I can’t find the @texascactusdude account. Do I have it misspelled?

Josh with @2raw2ridepoparazzi just posted a bunch of videos.

Yes. I wrote to the author as a child and he wrote me back

I did see the 2r2r video just now on Instagram but it could have been a repost of his TikTok. Yes, he is getting deranged vibes. I trust my highly honed craydar sense

No he can’t afford to sue the vet, and for what? I doubt techie was fired either.

2r2r is clearly a drama lama on top of it all.

Snyder! He’s veered east, away from NM. Also Snyder if roughly 70 miles from the last verified location of Sterling City, so he’s maintaining his pace now.

If he’s on Hwy 84, it leads northwest of Snyder to Lubbock, and from there eventually to the NM crossing at Clovis.

If he’s going there, Lubbock is one of the largest cities in the TX panhandle and the broad area around it is far more populated than the rest of northwest TX. He will definitely get some attention and some questions if he goes to that general area.

But of course he could change hwys again at any time.

But … your phrase is “I’d assume” so that’s not an actual sighting on Hwy 84, then. This guy does not track the way people with common sense would go about things.

He definitely veered from the path I thought he was going to take. I wonder if it was to try and dump Josh (idk why I called him Joey earlier). Josh posted 2 hours ago that he was in Dermott along a hwy, so he seems to be on 84.

I’m just going to keep assuming at this point since he doesn’t seem to have a set path and the jump east was unexpected. I’m thinking he goes around Lubbock. I just wonder if he plans to keep north towards Amarillo or finally veer towards Clovis and into NM.

You’re very right about him not tracking the way people with common sense do! He’s already adding unnecessary miles.

Or else he stays on this trajectory straight north, east of Lubbock, across the plains. A far, far easier route than the NM option. Maybe more efficient with the miles, too.

But since that’s what I would do, he probably won’t do that. LOL

Western Kansas is miles & miles east of the most apparent direct route. But it has many more options for routes and road than the plains of eastern Colorado. And I’m guessing more enablers to find. He probably won’t go that way but it’s an interesting option.

However he goes from here, it’s going to be very hilly, with even more constant elevation change, than where he is now.

But let’s face it, from the info so far, he has NOT scouted his route options in advance. I would have spent an unbelieveable amount of time, money and mileage scouting the best route I could find for my horse.

I’m guessing that he did a google maps mileage calculation and divided by so many miles per day and that’s his plan. Instead of first figuring out the most favorable route, then calculating the miles and estimating the days. The total time to finish should be a target, not a hard do-or-die mark to achieve.

And back to talking about Falcons condition, a lady was asking just you know post the vet records. She got blocked.

I would be grateful if someone can clarify the horse’s name.

I get it that Knucklehead has likely changed the original name. And that horse naming can be – flexible.

But you know. What is the horse’s proper name at this point in time? More to the point, what does the horse think is his name?

@OverandOnward, The name that the horse had with his previous owner who sold him, was Falcon. Knucklehead bought him based on lies to the seller, then named him Shiock.

Many people on TikTok believe that Shiock is the horse’s “death march name” and prefer calling him Falcon, the name that he had back when someone was taking care of him.
