Falcon’s owners offered to buy him back but he is not honoring that. I bet he cannot list Pete because, IIRC, he did not have ownership documentation when questioned in Idaho. At least Falcon won’t be with HIM anymore.

ETA: Looking at Platinum Equine Auction’s sales results I don’t think he’ll fetch anything near his $60K or whatever it was he previously listed them at.

I sure hope he hasn’t set a stoopid Reserve & Falcon finally gets rid of Asshat as owner.
Sale won’t be based on “fame” but hoping whoever had custody has managed to put him in shape for a sale to someone wanting a flashy, gaited horse.
Also hoping (vainly ) this person gets some of the auction proceeds.

@Annie10 Knowing how smarmy Cereal is, he’s more likely to expect payment from whatever charity takes poor old Pete.

That’s interesting, because I noticed in the “Sold” horses, that so many of them were pictured wearing the same saddle blankets and saddles. And lots of child models as well. Many of the pics appear to be enhanced, or at least the background. No cast shadows etc.

And poor Wounded Warriors. They were hit really hard by a scandal not too long ago. But we know for sure that he would never, ever donate a horse to anyone.

I knew they’d wind up at an auction.

I don’t see him listed yet this morning, but I’m also not unconvinced people haven’t been flooding platinum with negative press that they might not want (especially since they already have a lot of that themselves).

Hoping he just donates Pete to someone that really wants him and doesn’t require payment. I’m sure he’s jonesing to get rid of these horses. I wish he’d just get Falcon back to his original owner.

Random wild guess that wherever has been keeping the horses has told him to pay up on pasture board, or else they will proceed to claim ownership of the horses. Winter coming on and all, it will take more than just grass to keep the horses going.

What happened to the Netflix documentary that was supposed to make the horses famous? [snide rhetorical question, I know there never will be one, except 'how not to be a scam for money using horses]

Wonder what a thorough PPE would tell us about Falcon. Guessing this auction house isn’t doing one.
