4 Star trailer dealership recs

Anyone with experience with the following trailer dealerships?

LA trailer sales (Iron Station, NC)
Horse Pro Trailer Sales (Gainsville, GA)
Hitch and Tow (Aiken, SC)

I talked with both Horse Pro Trailers and Hitch & Tow, but ended up finding what I wanted thorough an individual who was upgrading, so did not end up purchasing from a dealer.

If I did go through ordering, I’m pretty sure I would have ordered through Horse Pro Trailers.

Sheri at Horse Pro is a horsewoman as well as a very knowledgeable trailer lady. We’ve known her for 20 yrs or more and she’s a straight shooter.

I have a client and two close friends who have purchased 4-Stars from Horse Pro. They seem knowledgeable, order their trailers with thoughtful options, and are generally fairly priced for a premium trailer.

Just a heads up, I know a few people with 4-Star- trailers. They all leak. I talked to one dealer, he was all gun-ho on 4-star, until he would honor their warranty and they would not pay him back. He stopped carrying them about 2 years later.
I love my Equispirit. I know people that love their Hawks. My personal opinion is that trailers with a fiberglass roof leak less. To my knowledge 4-star is an aluminum roof. Hawks/Equispirit/Trailet are all fiberglass roofs.

My 10 year old 4-star does not leak. The two I had before this one did not leak. They don’t “all leak”. Fabulous trailers, and I’ve had great customer service from the manufacturer.

This! I’ve had several 4-Stars. None have ever leaked. And second the customer service - the last one I bought (custom design to be like my original trailer from 30 years ago) wasn’t the same and I couldn’t figure it out. It took me a year to sort it out. The sales director stepped in, figured out what had changed from 30 years ago and rebuilt the trailer. And was very nice about it!

I am not saying All 4-Star trailers leak. I am saying I know 4 people with five 4-Star trailers. All of THEIR trailers leak.
The one that owns a 5 horse head to head and a 2 horse gooseneck mentioned that she knows a professional hauler and both of his leak.
My current trainer had to take the carpet out of her dressing room and have it replaced with rubber because the carpet molded due to it leaking.
Take that however you want to take it. My personal experience is that all of the people I personally know that own 4-Star trailers their trailers leak.
I am glad those of you that have ones that don’t leak are happy with them. It is not a chance I want to take. My 1974 Cotner and 2008 Equispirit didn’t leak. My Trail-et developed a small leak at a window that was fixed with some caulk. It was 21 years old. I think the rubber seal around the window got brittle from age.

I had every other problem under the sun, but my 4 Star did not leak.
