60 inch girth anyone?

My 18hh wb hunter needs a 60 inch girth that doesn’t let the saddle slip from side to side- like a Prof Choice neoprene girth that has staying power- but they do not seem to exist- I have reached out to PC to see if they could make me one but no word back. Surely I can’t be the only one with this problem? Any advice is greatly appreciate. ps -my horse is sensitive and does not care for a non-slip pad

I would try a custom harness maker - they often work in synthetics. for temporary solution a 56" and a girth extender.

I was looking for a 60” girth recently and drafttack.com has several https://drafttack.com/sc/ss_mb.cgi?storeid=*14894e2faa9c41e70b352562&ss_parm=A10aea5f115b6d6cde0b0eec8aadfe807

If you need a specific design just get a regular size and an extender, as the above poster says.

Not quite there but almost … total saddle fit girth come in 58”. https://www.totalsaddlefit.com/shop/…ef-girth-jump/

Mattes also come in almost 58”- Maybe a tiny bit less with the cm to inch conversion. Sometimes world equestrian brands has good deals if you don’t want to spend $300+

Shires also makes girths to 155 cm so that may be an option if you’re willing to wait about a week for it to come from oversees. https://equi-clic.com/gb/girths/11281-shires-fleece-lined-girth-elastic-5051771416953.html#/175-color-brown/2997-size-127_cm

(Been there, done that; 😏 my ‘small’ one wears a 56” girth). And no, I don’t order my saddles with extra short billets

Thanks for the contact info! I am reluctant to use a girth extender (I have one) because I don’t trust the quality of the ones I have seen and also they are bulky under my leg- I think there is a real demand for longer girths these days and they sell out quickly - And some of the ones I have gotten do not have quality elastic and actually are much shorter than advertised IMO

My horse takes a 60" as well, so I feel your pain. County girth. Pricey but worth it.

Success! Professional Choice returned my call and today I ordered a 60 inch neoprene girth- It will be made and shipped out today - no shipping cost but a $25 charge for the “set up” to make a longer girth -

Kudos to Professional Choice!

Pro choice is a great company. Toklat and Tekna can make 60" girths also. You can call Toklat directly and I ordered my Tekna either through Riding Warehouse or Distance Depot.

To add for future reference, Kentaur makes a 60" girth (150 cm). I happened to see one come up for sale on FB.
