I know this isn’t off topic, I’m hoping this will be allowed here as well.

Sorry this page is not available.

Perhaps Facebook only members can see it?

Why are you posting this in every forum, inc OT?

hmm maybe this link will work https://www.facebook.com/Forgottenhorsesrescueinc

not every forum just a few this link should work https://www.facebook.com/Forgottenhorsesrescueinc

From that page:

We’ve received concerned messages confusing us with a failed rescue organization, so wanted to let you know - Forgotten Horses Rescue is alive and kicking!
A Southern California group with a similar name - Fallen Horses Inc. - has collapsed, and their sadly thin, mostly TB, horses are being reclaimed by their owners or have gone to other rescues. We are completely full, so none have come to us, but we are helping as we can. Some of their horses had been adopted - it was the ones still in their care who have gone downhill.

They are not in trouble.

(Though of course ALL rescue groups welcome whatever help they can get!)

I believe the poster was posting about the old man who is dying of heart disease and his horses, if you scroll down on the Forgotten Horses Rescue page you will see the write up about him. Touching story, man has obviously loved his horses and cared a great deal about them. The rescue has been getting hay for his horses and food for him since he has been going without in an effort to keep his horses going. I hope they find loving homes for all his horses so he can have some final peace.

I was posting about the man dying of heart disease and his horses which is why I said in my original post to scroll down.

Sad story, I’m glad the rescue is helping him out not only with his horses but providing food for him too. Hope his horses all find wonderful loving homes so he has some peace in his final days, knowing his much loved horses will be taken care of.

Have to say that I have never seen a live horse (Spero) as skinny as the gray one on the facebook page of Forgotten Horse Rescue. Not surprised that he died 3 days after rescue.

Oh that is terrible! He was so skinny. Curses to the “rescue” creeps that starved him to death.

Kudos to the group helping the gent with heart issues. I hope all his horses find good homes.
