A.P.

A Secretariat son, National Zenith, was sent to Sweden and used in sporthorse breeding there. He’s sired some dressage horses and show jumpers and eventers there. His dam was Ciboulette, and you can hardly do better than her.

Ah here, if you’re going to bring up Correggio, go for the real deal… Istabraq.

A.P. Indy is showing not only is he a desired sports horse sire…but he has sired sons who are producing sports horses…Bernadini and Pulpet being 2…and yes Medaglio D’Oro s if and when you can find them are amazing…so are Go For Gin…Rockslide and MineShaft Jump Start. .also Grand Slam s…I love Conquestador Cielo on Dam side every time…

So it’s been 10 years since A.P. won the triple crown. I have a horse at the track we are looking at to restart. Seeing if anyone is having any success in eventing, trainablity, ammy friendly or quirky? Thanks!

This is Megan Moore’s Randy horse a Secretariat grandson that went Advanced then sold to Carl Bouckaert who sent him to Belgium for their event team. I did some breedings from his full sister. They were good eventers and I got a big time junior hunter out of one of them. Nothing to stop the presses on but they can be very sporty.

ETA just saw age on thread. Thought it was an extension on the conversation of some here wanting to breed TBs for sport.

He gets mostly turf horses so if they can jump, they should do well. I doubt there are many in the sporthorse ranks yet.

Apparently he passes on a very quiet, easy going temperament.
