A show name for George

He’s a cutie. I like Gorgeous George. General George? Generous George? George of the Jumps (instead of Jungle) Georgie Boy, I like Kiss the Girls as a name too… I remember the movie, I don’t think anyone looking at his cute little face will think of a serial killer. He looks like he could kiss the girls, or at least nicker at them sweetly.

“The Real Costanza” (George Costanza from the old Seinfeld show)

It would be cute. Be prepared for your starter to take it in a different direction, though, and start singing “sha la la la la la my oh my, looks like the boy’s too shy…” as you go into the ring.

I also like Gershwin.

He’s a handsome fellow! Playing off the sound of his name, I like Jollity.

Jolly George is nice!

I also have a horse named George and I loooove this idea. I am a huge Seinfeld fan. Fortunately my George is much less neurotic.

I vote for Kiss the Girls. I think that’s really cute.

My first thought was Gorgeous George.

Then of course the legend that is George Strait

Damn Strait
Troubadour
Check Yes or No
Amarillo (by morning)

Then there is George and the Dragon, must be tons of dragon names.

I would love to see a show horse named George. Tired of (and confused by) all these European horses with names like “Huckleploof Van der Plop XIV”. “George” would actually be a standout name and distinguish him from so many of the others.

That’s funny. I did that with my Holsteiner mare. Her name was less than pretty, so I showed her as Katie, her barn name.

I also like “Gorgeous George,” especially because your gelding is so handsome.

But “George Morris”… pretty clever!
