A show name for George

Cute lil George came to me with no papers, no tattoo, no nothing. He’s just “George.” So obviously he needs a show name!

He he makes me think of the nursery rhyme “Georgie Porgie,” so I was thinking “Kiss the Girls” might be cute. But I have no other ideas. Halp!

You could name him after a famous George…Clooney or Armani would be cute show names. What does he look like? A pic might help

You could either do a John Steinbeck Mice and Men reference or a Warner Bros cartoon as they reference Steinbeck and the name George in many cartoons.

I would choose “The Abdominable Snow Rabbit” as his name but I am odd like that so it may not be to everyone’s taste!

If a horse named George came into my life, I would totally give him a show name related to THE George–the only one that matters in this industry. Morris.

In my case, it would probably be “Soup Sandwich”–after my favorite GM quote You sit like a soup sandwich.

Actually, I just like George. He looks like a George.

What about Just George? There is an event horse named “Paul Just Paul” because that’s what people would ask when they would say his name was Paul and I though that was cute.

@gertie06 George is a cutie!
I like your idea Kiss the Girls :encouragement:
Just be prepared for Millennials (& some older) to not get the reference

Says the gal who named her mini Wascally Wabbit - barn name : Bugs - & had to tell 2 little girls, aged 7-ish, it was for Bugs Bunny.
Their response = crickets🦗🦗

Gorgeous George!
George, Washington (I looked it up and this is an actual place LOL)
Prince George
Royal George (play on Royal Gorge in Colorado)

I showed one named George of the Jungle and later (although the deal fell through b/c he got hurt) almost leased a George and wanted to show him as George the Second.

Kiss the Girls is the title of a fairly popular book and movie about a serial killer. Just fyi if you use that and get strange comments/looks.

Well, that’s unfortunate!

He’s super cute!! He fits his barn name. Curious George is cute! I’m a Beetles fan, so Harrison? Carlin? Gershwin? Whatever it is, you have a lovely boy.

When I read the title, I thought the actual show name being “Show Name For George” was quirky and fun !
