A TB named Krissie Belle...

I figure I’ll ask the racing people…perhaps you guys will have more success than I have.

I am looking for the offspring of a mare by the name of Georges Warbelle…

I know she had at least three foals that were registered with the JC. They are as follows:

Krissie Belle-sired by Reprised. She is a 1995 model.
Skipalong Cassidy-sired by Skip out Front. He’s a 1996 colt.
Siberian Surprise-sired by Siberian Request. This is a 1997 filly.

One of my best friends owned this mare for the majority of her life. She lost her recently, and she’d really like to get in contact with the owners of these horses. Basically, she’d like to offer them a home should they ever need one. And, she’d love to know how they were doing. All were bred in Florida. We have no clue where they are now.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Krissy Belle

I believe a friend of mine bought her from a woman trainer at Tampa Bay downs. Don’t recall the exact year, was she a dark bay, with a nice blaze and stockings ? Don’t recall how many stockings though.

Anyway, if that’s the mare, my friend sold her to a woman through a Chronicle classified. She was small and the woman thought she’d be a large pony. However, she had a growth spurt, don’t believe she got really tall. The buyer was going to maybe breed her to a pony.

But I think they ended up showing her some. The buyer was in Maryland, Delaware, Virginia area, I think.

Sorry that probably added more confusion than not. Perhaps post about Krissy Belle on the Hunter forum and maybe someone knows something about her.

When my friend bought her, she was very calm and quite, seems to have had only good handling in her life. I believe the trainer wanted to sell her as she was small and immature for racing so she didn’t want anything to happen to her.

Awesome! A lead. I’ll post something in the hunter and perhaps the eventing forum too.

Her mother was an AWESOME mare. I know we’d love to find the babies.

Thanks bunches!

Anyone else?

A TB named Krissie Belle…

I am looking for a TB by the name of Krissie Belle. She was born in 1995. Her dam is a mare by the name of Georges Warbelle, and her sire is Reprized. I believe she was unraced.

I had a hint that she was sold to a person off the COTH classified to someone who showed her. They thought in the Md, Va, De area.

Anyone know the mare? One of my best friends owned her dam for most of her life, and just recently lost her. She’d love to find the mares babies to know that they are ok, and to offer them a home should they ever need one.

We know she had two other babies, one called Siberian Surprise, born in 1997. Her sire was Siberian Express. There was also a colt called Skipalong Cassidy by Skip Out Front, born in 1996.

If anyone knows anything about these horses, I’d love to hear about it so I can pass the info along. My friend will be THRILLED to hear about these guys.

Thanks for any help!
