Bumping for 2024

Thank you for bumping this—it’s the first time I’ve seen it. Love, love, love it. My first pony was a section B Welsh (whose breeding was really mostly A). The Welsh breed is my  breed even though I haven’t had one in forever. I find I’m a little too timid for the dragon part of the Cs and Ds.

Merry Christmas!

Adding photos of my friend Kate’s horse Ditto, pulling a sleigh in Ipswich MA yesterday. The trail is one I rode many times before I retired Feronia. I haven’t been able to go for a sleigh ride with Kate yet.

Ahhhh. I was wondering when my video would reappear again. Andy (now long gone over the rainbow bridge) was the Welsh Section B in the video. Such a solid character - he was the faithful mount for my neighbor’s young daughter when she learned to foxhunt, and was half of the pair photographed by the late Brice Smart for his book “Partnership of the Horse” (See photo) when I was training the other pony to be in a pair.

Andy paired with his regular partner Annie:

Such a handsome boy out of his winter fuzzies.

Thank you for making that video years ago… many people have enjoyed viewing it here during the holiday seasons.

Add me to really enjoying the sleigh ride! Felt like I was aboard with you! I haven’t been sleigh riding for years. No sleigh anymore, it was too small for our change to the big horses. We also don’t seem to get enough snow anymore, darn it. We do drive a carriage in the winter so we can get just as cold! Ha ha

Thanks for the sleighing video and the folks who find it to share each year!!
