You’re on the COTH eventing forum. Should we shut down all threads not related to COVID19 for the remainder of the year?
I constantly feel disenfranchised by USEF, USEA, and USHJA. I am an upper lever eventer, that cross competes in USHJA shows. I would loved to be able to go to a horse with out taking 2 days of vacation. I get 15 days off a year (3 weeks)… so I can only go to 7 SHOWS per year. Let alone if I want to go to a championship. What about a clinic? What about lessons? How many professionals want to stay late and teach my 7pm lesson? The sport is not friendly to people with a day job. You’d think they would figure out how to accommodate us, since we pay for the trainers to get to shows, we pay most of the horse show entries, and we pay most of the association fees.
And how is the USEA responsible for professionals that do not want to teach a 7 PM lesson?
