Abler omeprazole in manure

Hello everybody. Sorry if this is a silly question, no doubt but I started my horse on the Abler product omeprazole for potential ulcers and the tiny blue balls were in his manure today. Is that supposed to happen? Doesn’t that mean his body hasn’t absorbed them and it won’t work?

Thank you

Got a pic? I find it hard to believe the blue coating could survive the digestive tract, even if the horse didn’t process the omeprazole

If it really is the blue coating, have you actually gotten hands on a few to see if it’s the coating that’s separated from the insides?

Il get a pic soon as he’s had his feed again and done his business, perhaps it’s separated from the insides of the meds as you say, their definitely blue balls in his manure. The only other thing could be that he’s kicked his bucket over and the medication has gone onto mature I just don’t know. He poops alot so il try and catch some in a bucket, yes I was surprised to see it after being through the digestive tract aswell
