"Above It All: Alana Renaud"

I was searching around on the Internet, for a horse in the Atlanta area and I stumbled across this amazing woman and her story. It is about being different, ignorant people, finding a place in the world despite ignorant people and being happy. It is related to horses because of the joy Alana has found in her horse. Reading her story actually made me sniffle a bit.

I rode with Alana when I lived in Atlanta. She is as sweet and cool as the article would suggest. She also was (I have lost touch with her since) an excellent rider and actually had a kind of average-sized 16.1handish quarter horse named Dudley. Not a huge, gigantic, oversized horse. He was a sweetie too!
