Recently my 23 year old slipped and I believe she pulled a muscle. I got her Absorbine Vet Liniment (the liquid not the gel) and a friend recommended MSM so I got some of that too. When I asked what she thought about Absorbine Vet Liniment, she said she used Absorbine Jr on her Morgan when she got older and she and her horse loved the results. A different friend said Absorbine Liniment doesn’t help at all and I need to get Bigeloil instead or she won’t feel any better. I haven’t heard her say she’s compared the 2 so I did some research and found the Bigeloil is made my Absorbine but it has a more moderate effect. Told her this and she didn’t change her thinking so I’m here to ask if anyone has an opinion on if this is the right solution, if they’ve found Absorbine Vet Liniment works well for similar leg injuries, and if Bigeloil just might be better, despite what the Absorbine website says.
Both are fine, people prefer one over the other, horses, not sure they care.
