Abused Silky Terrier or yorkie mix needs a home asap *please see post for state*

STATE: Central Kentucky*******

![](osh, I sound like the poster who had their horse in a witness protection program but his placement is a delicate one at best. If you are interested in him I will provide details on his past. He needs a home NOW…. He is safe but his current situation isn’t ideal.

Details as I know them.

Silky or yorkie mix male- not neutered - I will pay to have him neutered
Age: 1 to 2 years old (looking at teeth)
Weight: 8lbs
Personality: Very submissive as he’s been abused. VERY friendly and loving to adults and teens. I do not have small children so I can’t say how he would react to them.

Good with other dogs and cats. If the cats run he will try to chase them, if the cat turns around the dog runs the other way. He has shown no aggression to cats. No aggression to the dogs.

Unsure if he’s house broken, he does mark outside. Hopefully once he’s neutered that will stop.

Rides well in car.

Please pass the word to any terrier lovers you may know or if you know of a Silky rescue please pass me the information.

Here is the little guy in the doggy witness protection program

Calling all terrier lovers! Isn’t anyone interested in the cutest dog ever? He really needs an indoor home asap.

The little guy is getting neutered/vaccinated tomorrow. His foster mom says that he’s a love of a little dog who adores her 10 year old son and just about any and all people he’s met.

He’s a smart little dog that is learning VERY quickly about living on a farm, in harmony with many other types of animals. Today he met a big ole’ nanny goat that taught him a lesson on how to treat and approach a goat of mature stature. Wish I could have seen that.

The foster mom will drive him to Louisville or Lexington to meet a transport or a new home. I’m leaving for Abu Dhabi, UAE on Tuesday so will do my best to help him find a forever home from the other side of the world  . Obviously, I’m a bit limited being so far away but I’m committed to getting the little guy a forever loving home. Please help spread the word on this adorable little guy. He really needs a family and a home of his own. He’s currently kenneled outside and with winter around the corner an indoor home of his own is a must.

Little guy was rehomed thanks to a wonderful Chronicle member!
