Accommodations near Vermont Summer Festival

Where does everyone non-local stay while showing at this horse show?

I am hoping to find a condo, cottage or house rental. Not familiar with the area, what area should I be looking in?

Or, are there many hotels near by?

There are tons of motels one exit south on route 7. My mom and I always stayed at the Toll Road Inn, it’s absolutely adorable and the owners are wonderful people! Not very expensive, either.

When i went, I stayed in a house with most of my barnmantes for the week. it ended up being about 200 bucks for the week per person plus we got to cook our own food which was really nice and we were less than a mile from the show (IIRC). Just look up houses for rent in Manchester VT and see what suits you

Many barns will rent houses, but there are bunches of cute hotels. I’ve stayed at the Chalet, as well as the cute one in town with a small par 3 course (blanking on name). You could always go nuts and stay at the Equinox

I always used to stay at the Inn at Ormsby Hill (http://www.ormsbyhill.com/)

It’s a bit further than the Equinox, but IMO, well worth it. The place is gorgeous, and the inn keepers are lovely!

I’ve stayed at the Willow Pond Inn, which was nice enough and decent breakfast selection. It’s close to the show, but not in town which is a minor drawback. Make sure you get an upper level room - being in the lower level is like living in a cave since it’s built into a hill.

I stayed at another inn that’s way out of town - I can’t even remember the name of it now, but don’t bother with one so far away! Bathroom was SUPER old.

Be prepared for a rustic setting! Cell service is pretty poor (Willow Pond was better than the other inn I stayed at, where I had none) and Wifi is equally poor or nonexistent. Fortunately this is not the case at the show. I would recommend getting a house with your barn if you can! I was going a little bit batty after spending 4-6 weeks in a hotel room.

AirBnB?

That looks wonderful, I like the individuality of the rooms. Reminds me of the Gratz Park Inn in Lexington KY where I stayed during Rolex.
