If anyone recalls the movie “Champions”, he starred in it and did a wonderful job. Was a great movie. The opening scene with the instrumental music and Aldaniti (sp) galloping, still gives me goosebumps and a lump in my throat.

John Hurt died in 2017, William Hurt just died. (I always mixed them up too).

I loved William Hurt, who just passed at 71.
He was a great actor. He will be missed.
Somewhat unrelated, the late John Hurt was an accomplished rider. He also had the real life tragedy of his wife dying in a riding accident. Wonderful actor and missed. Also sorry about William Hurt but not horse related comment about him.
