Has anyone tried this? For what conditions? Did it work?
Considering it as an overall adjunct therapy while we continue rehab on my 5 yr old with stifles issues. He has components both upward patellar fixation and stifle synovitis (no OCD or arthritis), with SI pain- and who knows what else may hurt??! It’s been a very long road and I won’t recall his entire history, but in a nutshell he’s had chiro, massage, SI injections, stifle joint injections, and finally, medial patellar ligament splitting about 10 weeks ago. He’s improved, but still not 100% and maybe he never will be; short strides a bit on his left which is the bad stifle. Vet is coming 4/26 for follow up. We can do IRAP yet so that’s not off the table.
Trainer has found the acuscope therapy helpful for her horse with deep digital flexor tendon tear. Not sure it would be useful in my guy’s case. Vet hasn’t gotten back to me on giving me a yay or nay on it and I’d rather not spend $180 for the initial 3 treatment if it’s not going to do much.
