They’ve caught my eye on an item, excellent price. Shipping is a bit high, (doesn’t qualify for free) but still coming under other retailers.
What say you in terms of reliability, shipping time, etc.? Seems some folks here think they’re the shiznit…

I love Adams. I usually make my order over $100 to get the free shipping and rarely have trouble with that aspect of it. They often don’t have things in stock but have phoned to ask if I wanted to back order or cancel.
Items arrive quickly and in excellent condition.
Can’t think of anything negative … except that they advertise things not in stock … but everyone seems to do that.
I’ve placed quite a few orders with them- some small orders, at least one large order of many “small things”, and a small order with a big ticket item. always found good prices and reasonable shipping- arrives as scheduled, and no issues with items being incorrect or left out.

I bought one item that was not as shown on the website, but I’ll be honest–it was a cheap, low-quality item to begin with, and I knew when I ordered it that it would probably break within a few months. It wasn’t worth the hassle of a return, so I didn’t really reach out to them to fix the problem; I just assumed the manufacturer changed design and they hadn’t updated their website yet.
I’ve ordered from them a few times since and never had any problems.
Always had good experiences with them. I’m in Canada and their shipping is more reasonable than many (maybe because they’re in Maine) and they have decent sales. Mean to stop by at the actual bricks and mortar store someday.
They and VTO are my favs in the US as online stores.

First time I ordered from them was because they had a really good price on a blanket I wanted.
BUT - delivery did take quite a while. After I ordered (and started asking what was taking so long) I found out that the item was being “drop shipped” from the manufacture.
With that in mind, I have ordered from them again, and again, parts of my order were “drop shipped” - so they do not necessarily have the items that they are selling in stock, which is fine if you are not in a hurry.

They usually tell you if the item is being drop shipped before you even add the item to the cart
Absolutely top notch! I am in Maine, and have shopped in their well-stocked store as well as on line for many years. They now have a booth at Equine Affaire in Mass. also. They have good closeout sales on big-name brands. Go to their website www.adamshorsesupply.com to get on the email list.
Adams is great. My Irish Draught can be hard to fit. They carry a lot of things that fit him. They also know their products. I bought a Tipperary vest that did not fit me at all. I called Adams and based on what I described about it being tight in the shoulders, she recommended a Charles Owen Kontakt, which fits well and is comfortable. Their prices are good.

That is what I would expect, but that has not happened on a few orders I placed were that was the case. One the the drop shipped items was a Pessoa blanket…
